If you are looking to increase biodiversity in your woodland, tree veteranisation is an effective method to attract wildlife—especially in younger forests or woodlands lacking veteran tree features. We provide a specialized service creating habitat cavities in suitable trees. These tailored features encourage managed internal decay, allowing natural cavities to expand over time while ensuring the tree continues to grow safely and sustainably.

As an experienced botanical surveyor, I offer a complete native species planting service designed to restore natural flora and maximize site biodiversity. Each project begins with a detailed ecological assessment—including quadrat sampling, vegetation mapping, and soil condition analysis—to evaluate existing flora and site health. Based on these findings, we curate and implement a bespoke palette of strictly native, ethically sourced plants using strategic seeding and plug planting to improve survival rates, strengthen local food webs, prevent soil erosion, and build resilient biodiversity hubs without disturbing existing native growth.

As a professional ecologist and experienced habitat specialist, I offer comprehensive ecological surveys and habitat assessments tailored to evaluate local ecosystem health, identify key botanical species, and uncover site-specific ecological opportunities. Following each assessment, I deliver strategic, practical recommendations and actionable management plans designed to restore native habitats, enhance overall biodiversity, and establish sustainable long-term environmental stewardship for landowners, nature reserves, and commercial developments.
